All sessions will take place at Woodside Ele. in the ART ROOM. Please enter through the main doors. A parent/guardian MUST walk the student(s) in as well as sign them in. The parent/guardian MUST also walk in a pick up the student(s) and sign them out.
When you enter, the ART ROOM is to your right all the way down the hall on your right.

All Mixed Up-Art Class strives to foster imagination and creativity in our studio by helping students create beautiful art. As you can tell from the name of the class, we will be working on a VARIETY of art mediums and projects.  We opened our doors in 2023 and can't wait to see what our artists create!
MRS. VAUGHN
Hi everyone! I am so excited for you to get started on your art adventure! I have been interested in art FOREVER! My passion is 3D art such as ceramics, mosaics and fabrics. I have been teaching art now for 24 years and still LOVE it. I want all who take these classes to come out of them feeling like they really learned something and have become a better artist. It is my goal to ensure every student gets to achieve their creative heights. Come join me for this fun and crazy art adventure!

Flowers, Donuts, Rainbows and Portraits
July 15-18 SESSION 1
REGISTRATION Completed by June 1, 2024
Ready to have fun! This session is filled with 4 different art projects. We will be creating a large watercolor painting inspired by the works of Georgia O'Keeffe, making "delicious" looking papier mache donuts, weaved rainbows and Andy Warhol POP ART self portraits.
Bubble Gum, Birds, Bugs and Owls
July 29-Aug. 1 SESSION 2
REGISTRATION Completed by June 1, 2024
Ready to have fun! This session we will be working on creating paintings inspired by Wayne Theibaud and his love of sweets! We will create some whimsical clay birds, fantastic printed bugs and wide-eyed weaved owls.
Bobble heads, hippie bus, mini monsters and silly dogs
August 5-8 SESSION 3
REGISTRATION Completed by June 1, 2024
Ready to have fun! This session will consist of creating bobble head animals made from clay, some colorful hippie buses using oil pastels and a technique called, Sgraffito, sewing some mini monsters and paintings of some silly wet dogs.
